UCC Green Talk Podcast
To kick start the academic year of 2018/2019, the UCC Green Campus is delighted to announce the launch of UCC Green Talk Podcast. Coming this September, we aim to release podcasts covering a variety of sustainability issues, both in UCC and further afield. We have just finished recording our second podcast.
As tests carried out in Cork City found concentrations levels of PM2.5 (as high as London on the same day) we decided to do a Podcast on air pollution and the effects it has on health. For this we had Emeritus Professor of Physical Chemistry – John Sodeau, interviewing a number of experts in the area, including two PhD students from UCC.
Another podcast discusses a number of sustainable campus activities, such as the arrival of bees, the sustainability module and the Love Our Library Campaign. We are looking forward to doing many more this year and hope you enjoy. If any students or staff have ideas for topics or would like to become involved, don’t hesitate to get in contact!
