About Maria Kirrane

Dr Maria Kirrane is the Sustainability Officer for UCC, coordinating delivery of the university’s Sustainability Strategy which covers the operational, teaching, learning, research and outreach functions of the institution. Maria holds a PhD from UCC and undertook postdoctoral research at the university of Limerick on the role of education in transitioning to a more sustainable society.
